MICHAEL DAVID HELLMAN has been practicing law since 1991. Mike joined the Firm following his graduation from law school in 1991, and became a partner in 1998.

Mike’s practice is devoted entirely to litigation matters. Mike is an experienced litigator with an emphasis on business disputes, breach of contract actions, real estate disputes, and trust litigation.

Mike received his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1986 (B.A. in Economics-Business) and his law degree from University of California, Hastings College of Law in 1991. He is admitted to practice before the California State Courts, the United States District Court for the Central District of California and the United States Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit.

Mike was appointed in 2004 to the California State Bar Committee on Administration of Justice to serve a three-year term. Mike has also served as a Vice President and Director of the Barristers’ Club of Santa Barbara, as a member of the Santa Barbara Chapter of the American Inns of Court, and as an Alternate Delegate to the Conference of Delegates. Mike also serves as a voluntary Settlement Master to the Santa Barbara Superior Court.
