JOSH RABINOWITZ joined the Firm in January, 2000, and became a partner in January, 2003

Josh’s practice is focused on the representation of businesses and individuals in their business, real estate, tax and related legal needs. Specifically, Josh’s practice focuses on counseling technology and emerging growth companies; planning, structuring, forming and advising entities (including corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships); negotiating, reviewing and drafting commercial contracts; mergers and acquisitions; and tax planning. His real estate practice encompasses all aspects of real property matters, including purchase and sale transactions, commercial leases, financing and tax deferred exchanges.

Josh earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at San Diego, with departmental honors, in 1990. He earned his law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1995 and a Masters of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1998. 

Josh is Co-Chairman of the Tax Section of the Santa Barbara County Bar Association. He is also a member of the State Bar of California and the Santa Barbara County Bar Association. Josh’s personal interests include spending time with family, tennis, golf and running.
