Attorneys
CHRISTINE COTE joined the Firm as an Associate in February, 2003.
Christine’s practice is focused on the areas of estate planning, probate, and trust administration.
Christine earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, San Diego, with honors, in 1976. She earned a law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1979 and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation from the same institution in 1982. She also became a Certified Public Accountant in
1987, although that license is now inactive.
She is a member of the State Bar of California, the Santa Barbara County Bar Association, and is admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court.
Christine has recently moved to Santa Barbara to be closer to her family, after living twenty years in San
Francisco and, where, in addition to working as a lawyer and an accountant, she volunteered as an archivist in the Archaeology Lab of the Presidio of San Francisco,
and as a vet tech assistant in the infirmary of the San Francisco
S.P.C.A.
